Event for NOSAS Members
This is your invitation to a grand party to celebrate 20 years since NOSAS was founded, and to welcome the next 20 years.
The date is Saturday 1st September and the venue courtesy of Eric Grant is Tarradale House in the Walled Garden. The deadline for responding is Monday 20th August please.
Arrival time is from 6.00pm, then party until late. All food and drink, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, is provided. You don’t need to bring anything other than yourselves.
The food is a barbecue buffet and will be available at 7.00 pm. Will anyone with dietary preferences or necessities please let me know what they are when you respond.
The cost is £5 per person to cover the food and soft drinks. Pay on the night.
Dress is informal whilst encouraging you to dig into your wardrobe and come in 60s / 70s togs, with a modest prize for the best turned out to be decided on a vote. The general music theme will be 60s / 70s and earlier. If you have a favourite vinyl album, tape or CD please bring it along.
There will also be a ‘curiosities treasure hunt’ around the walled garden for you.
From the first party notice that went out in February I have 17 email responses and a few more verbal responses for which thank you, and from those responses I know who is coming to stay overnight with tents, caravans and campervans. There is no need for any of you who have already contacted me to do so again but most important, if you are coming with tent, caravan or campervan please arrive during the afternoon to be pitched not later than 5.00pm.
There will be sufficient tentage for everyone to get under cover should it be wet, but as the event is mostly on grass please come wearing suitable footwear and bring an umbrella.
