Tornagrain Updated - a talk to set this 2015 excavation in context

Lachlan McKeggie is a longstanding member of NOSAS, a former Board member and now one of the directors of Highland Archaeology Services. In 2015 HAS excavated an extensive area of high ground next to the Norbord woodchip factory, NW of Tornagrain. This was in preparation for the building of the Morayston Biodigester factory. 

Stripping the topsoil revealed a complex array of postholes and buildings, which were painstakingly excavated over the next few months. The excavation and its findings were  written up in an interim DSR report, to be found here. 

Several years later the post-ex results are back. Lachlan will present the site again, in the light of this post-ex, and now set it into a wider context.
