Duncan Kennedy will lead this NOSAS walk as part of the Highland Archaeology Festival.

Duncan Kennedy will lead this circular loop starting and ending in Spean Bridge, taking in the remains of the Invergarry & Fort Augustus Railway and viaduct; a section of General Wade's Military Road, including the spectacular remains of High Bridge (see photo), the location of the first action of the '45, the Commando Memorial and the Royal Observer Corps bunker and aircraft monitoring post. The walk is approximately 4 miles/6.5 km on good paths. Bring a packed lunch. Meet at Spean Bridge car park (NN 221 816)
