HERITAGE FESTIVAL 2017 – MAKING TRACKS – HIGHLAND CONNECTIONS. Day Conference.

Our speakers are heritage experts from a range of institutions including the National Library of Scotland, Inverness College, The University of the Highlands and Islands, and Historic Environment Scotland.

On Saturday we will have talks on subjects including mapping Badenoch, emigration from Badenoch, the letters of Anne Grant of Laggan, space and place in the A9 corridor, as well as book displays from Waterstones, Caberfeidh Horizons and Edinburgh University Press. Also displays and presentations on local textiles and from Kingussie Primary School. Saturday evening promises musical delights from Badenoch Chorale, including Faure’s Requiem.
