Tarradale Barns Excavations

We will continue with excavation of the "barns" at Tarradale on Friday 20th, Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June. We are uncovering building remains which are most likely the remains of farm buildings shown on the 1788 map. We have also excavated a substantial boundary wall and a probable corn drying kiln. All are welcome to volunteer, regardless of experience. We hope this will be a good opportunity to brush up on excavation skills, with less physically demanding roles available for those not wishing to dig.
